4:1
Τότε ὁ Ἰησοῦς ἀνήχθη εἰς τὴν ἔρημον ὑπὸ τοῦ Πνεύματος πειρασθῆναι διαβόλου
Tote ho Iēsous anēchthē eis tēn erēmon hypo tou Pneumatos peirasthēnai diabolou
Then - Jesus was led up for the wilderness by of the Spirit to be tempted devil

καὶ νηστεύσας ἡμέρας τεσσεράκοντα τεσσεράκοντα ⇔ νύκτας ὕστερον ἐπείνασεν

Καὶ προσελθὼν ὁ πειράζων εἶπεν αὐτῷ Εἰ Υἱὸς εἶ τοῦ Θεοῦ εἰπὲ ἵνα οἱ λίθοι οὗτοι ἄρτοι γένωνται
kai proselthōn ho peirazōn eipen autō Ei Huios ei tou Theou eipe hina hoi lithoi houtoi artoi genōntai
And having come to [her] - [one] tempting said to Him If Son are of the of God speak so that - stones These loaves of bread might become

Ὁ δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν Γέγραπται Οὐκ ἐπ’ ἄρτῳ μόνῳ ζήσεται ὁ ἄνθρωπος Ἀλλ’ ἐπὶ παντὶ ῥήματι ἐκπορευομένῳ διὰ στόματος Θεοῦ
ho de apokritheis eipen Gegraptai Ouk ep’ artō monō zēsetai ho anthrōpos all’ epi panti rhēmati ekporeuomenō dia stomatos Theou
- however He answering said It has been written: Not in bread alone shall live - a man but at every word coming out on account of [the] mouth of God

Τότε παραλαμβάνει αὐτὸν ὁ διάβολος εἰς τὴν ἁγίαν πόλιν καὶ ἔστησεν ἐπὶ τὸ πτερύγιον τοῦ ἱεροῦ
Tote paralambanei auton ho diabolos eis tēn hagian polin kai estēsen epi to pterygion tou hierou
Then takes with [Him] him - devil for the holy city And He set at the pinnacle of the temple

καὶ λέγει αὐτῷ Εἰ Υἱὸς εἶ τοῦ Θεοῦ βάλε σεαυτὸν κάτω γέγραπται γὰρ ὅτι Τοῖς ἀγγέλοις αὐτοῦ ἐντελεῖται περὶ σοῦ ἐπὶ χειρῶν ἀροῦσίν σε μή‿ ποτε προσκόψῃς πρὸς λίθον τὸν πόδα σου
kai legei autō Ei Huios ei tou Theou bale seauton katō gegraptai gar hoti Tois angelois autou enteleitai peri sou epi cheirōn arousin se mē pote proskopsēs pros lithon ton poda sou

Πάλιν παραλαμβάνει αὐτὸν ὁ διάβολος εἰς ὄρος ὑψηλὸν λίαν καὶ δείκνυσιν αὐτῷ πάσας τὰς βασιλείας τοῦ κόσμου τὴν δόξαν αὐτῶν
palin paralambanei auton ho diabolos eis oros hypsēlon lian kai deiknysin autō pasas tas basileias tou kosmou tēn doxan autōn

καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ Ταῦτά σοι πάντα δώσω ἐὰν πεσὼν προσκυνήσῃς μοι

And said to Him These things to You all I will give if having fallen You will worship Me

καὶ ἀπῆλθεν ἡ ἀκοὴ αὐτοῦ εἰς ὅλην τὴν Συρίαν προσήνεγκαν αὐτῷ πάντας τοὺς κακῶς ἔχοντας ποικίλαις νόσοις βασάνοις συνεχομένους [καὶ] δαιμονιζομένους σεληνιαζομένους παραλυτικούς ἐθεράπευσεν αὐτούς
kai apēlthen hē akoē autou eis holēn tēn Syrian prosēnenkan autō pantas tous kakōs echontas poikilais nosois basanois synechomenous kai daimonizomenous selēniazomenous paralytikous etherapeusen autous
And departed the news of Him’” for all the Syria they offered to Him all the sick being of various diseases pains oppressing and being possessed by demons being epileptics paralytics He healed them

Καὶ ἠκολούθησαν αὐτῷ ὄχλοι πολλοὶ ἀπὸ τῆς Γαλιλαίας καὶ Δεκαπόλεως Ἱεροσολύμων Ἰουδαίας πέραν τοῦ Ἰορδάνου
kai ēkolouthēsan autō ochloi polloi apo tēs Galilaias kai Dekapoleōs Hierosolymōn Ioudaias peran tou Iordanou
And they followed to Him crowds many from - of Galilee And of [the] Decapolis Jerusalem Judea beyond of the Jordan
