Καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς ὁ Ἰησοῦς πάλιν εἶπεν ἐν παραβολαῖς αὐτοῖς λέγων

kai apokritheis ho Iēsous palin eipen en parabolais autois legōn

And He answering - Jesus again said in parables to them saying

Ὡμοιώθη ἡ βασιλεία τῶν οὐρανῶν ἀνθρώπῳ βασιλεῖ ὅστις ἐποίησεν γάμους τῷ υἱῷ αὐτοῦ

Hōmoiōthē hē basileia tōn ouranōn anthrōpō basilei hostis epoiēsen gamous tō huiō autou

Has become like the kingdom of the heavens: man a king who did a wedding feast - Son of Him’”

And He sent the servants of Him’” to call having been invited for a wedding feast not they desired to come

palin apesteilen allous doulous legōn Eipate tois keklēmenois Idou to ariston mou hētoimaka hoi tauroi kai ta sitista tethymena panta hetoima deute eis tous gamous

Again He sent others servants saying Say on the having been invited Behold the dinner of Me I have prepared - oxen And the fatlings have been killed all ready come for the a wedding feast

Οἱ δὲ ἀμελήσαντες ἀπῆλθον ὃς μὲν εἰς τὸν ἴδιον ἀγρόν ἐπὶ τὴν ἐμπορίαν αὐτοῦ

hoi de amelēsantes apēlthon hos men eis ton idion agron epi tēn emporian autou

- however having paid no attention they went away who - for the own [the] country at the business of Him’”

poreuesthe oun epi tas diexodous tōn hodōn kai hosous ean heurēte kalesate eis tous gamous

go therefore at the thoroughfares of the highways And as many as if You shall have found [Him] invite for the a wedding feast

kai exelthontes hoi douloi ekeinoi eis tas hodous synēgagon pantas hous heuron ponērous te kai agathous eplēsthē ho gamos anakeimenōn

And having gone forth - servants They for the highways they brought together all which having found evil both And good became full - wedding hall as were reclining

Having entered in however - King to see the reclining with [him] he saw there man not being dressed garment of wedding

kai legei autō Hetaire pōs eisēlthes hōde mē echōn endyma gamou ho de ephimōthē

And He says to Him Friend How did you enter here not having garment of wedding? - however he was speechless

Τότε ὁ βασιλεὺς εἶπεν τοῖς διακόνοις Δήσαντες αὐτοῦ πόδας καὶ χεῖρας ἐκβάλετε αὐτὸν εἰς τὸ σκότος ἐξώτερον ἐκεῖ ἔσται κλαυθμὸς βρυγμὸς τῶν ὀδόντων

Tote ho basileus eipen tois diakonois Dēsantes autou podas kai cheiras ekbalete auton eis to skotos exōteron ekei estai klauthmos brygmos tōn odontōn

Then - King said on the servants Having bound of Him’” feet And hands cast out him for the darkness outer there it will be weeping gnashing of the teeth

kai apostellousin autō tous mathētas autōn meta tōn Hērōdianōn legontes Didaskale oidamen hoti alēthēs ei tēn hodon tou Theou en alētheia didaskeis ou melei soi peri oudenos gar blepeis eis prosōpon anthrōpōn

And they send to Him the disciples of them with of the Herodians saying Teacher do we know - TRUE are the way of the of God in [the] truth teach not is it concern to You around no one for You look for appearance of men

eipon oun hēmin ti soi dokei exestin dounai kēnson Kaisari ē ou

tell [it] therefore to us Which to You do think? it is lawful to give tribute to Caesar or not?

gnous de ho Iēsous tēn ponērian autōn eipen Ti me peirazete hypokritai

Having known [this] however - Jesus the malice of them said What me do you test hypocrites?

They say they Caesar’s Then He says to them Give back therefore the to Caesar And of the of God - to God

legontes Didaskale Mōusēs eipen Ean tis apothanē mē echōn tekna epigambreusei ho adelphos autou tēn gynaika kai anastēsei sperma tō adelphō

saying Teacher Moses said If anyone should die not having children will marry - brother of Him’” the wife And he will raise up seed - brother

Answering however - Jesus said to them You err not knowing the Scriptures not even the power of the of God
