Καὶ ἐξῆλθεν ἐκεῖθεν καὶ ἔρχεται εἰς τὴν πατρίδα αὐτοῦ ἀκολουθοῦσιν αὐτῷ οἱ μαθηταὶ
kai exēlthen ekeithen kai erchetai eis tēn patrida autou akolouthousin autō hoi mathētai
And it came forth from there And comes for the hometown of Him’” follow to Him - disciples

καὶ γενομένου σαββάτου ἤρξατο διδάσκειν ἐν τῇ συναγωγῇ οἱ πολλοὶ ἀκούοντες ἐξεπλήσσοντο λέγοντες Πόθεν τούτῳ ταῦτα τίς ἡ σοφία δοθεῖσα τούτῳ; αἱ δυνάμεις τοιαῦται διὰ τῶν χειρῶν αὐτοῦ γινόμεναι;

οὐχ οὗτός ἐστιν ὁ τέκτων υἱὸς τῆς Μαρίας καὶ ἀδελφὸς Ἰακώβου Ἰωσῆτος Ἰούδα Σίμωνος; οὐκ εἰσὶν αἱ ἀδελφαὶ αὐτοῦ ὧδε πρὸς ἡμᾶς; ἐσκανδαλίζοντο ἐν αὐτῷ

καὶ ἰδὼν αὐτοὺς βασανιζομένους ἐν τῷ ἐλαύνειν ἦν γὰρ ὁ ἄνεμος ἐναντίος αὐτοῖς περὶ τετάρτην φυλακὴν τῆς νυκτὸς ἔρχεται πρὸς περιπατῶν ἐπὶ θαλάσσης ἤθελεν παρελθεῖν αὐτούς
