Mark 11 | Mark 13

12:1

Καὶ ἤρξατο αὐτοῖς ἐν παραβολαῖς λαλεῖν Ἀμπελῶνα ἄνθρωπος ἐφύτευσεν καὶ περιέθηκεν φραγμὸν ὤρυξεν ὑπολήνιον ᾠκοδόμησεν πύργον ἐξέδετο αὐτὸν γεωργοῖς ἀπεδήμησεν

kai ērxato autois en parabolais lalein ampelōna anthrōpos ephyteusen kai periethēken phragmon ōryxen hypolēnion ōkodomēsen pyrgon exedeto auton geōrgois apedēmēsen

And he began to them in parables to speak A vineyard a man planted And he placed around [it] a fence dug a wine vat built a tower rented out him to farmers traveled abroad

12:2

Καὶ ἀπέστειλεν πρὸς τοὺς γεωργοὺς τῷ καιρῷ δοῦλον ἵνα παρὰ τῶν γεωργῶν λάβῃ ἀπὸ καρπῶν τοῦ ἀμπελῶνος

kai apesteilen pros tous geōrgous tō kairō doulon hina para tōn geōrgōn labē apo karpōn tou ampelōnos

And He sent to the farmers - time a servant so that by of the farmers shall take from fruit of the vineyard

12:3

καὶ λαβόντες αὐτὸν ἔδειραν ἀπέστειλαν κενόν

kai labontes auton edeiran apesteilan kenon

And having taken him they beat [him] sent empty-handed

12:4

Καὶ πάλιν ἀπέστειλεν πρὸς αὐτοὺς ἄλλον δοῦλον κἀκεῖνον ἐκεφαλίωσαν καὶ ἠτίμασαν

kai palin apesteilen pros autous allon doulon kakeinon ekephaliōsan kai ētimasan

And again He sent to they another a servant and him they struck on the head And treated shamefully

12:5

καὶ ἄλλον ἀπέστειλεν κἀκεῖνον ἀπέκτειναν πολλοὺς ἄλλους οὓς μὲν δέροντες δὲ ἀποκτέννοντες

kai allon apesteilen kakeinon apekteinan pollous allous hous men derontes de apoktennontes

And another He sent and him they killed many others which - beating however killing

12:6

Ἔτι ἕνα εἶχεν υἱὸν ἀγαπητόν ἀπέστειλεν αὐτὸν ἔσχατον πρὸς αὐτοὺς λέγων ὅτι Ἐντραπήσονται τὸν υἱόν μου

Eti hena eichen huion agapēton apesteilen auton eschaton pros autous legōn hoti Entrapēsontai ton huion mou

[While] yet one it had son beloved He sent him last to they saying - They will have respect for the son of Me

12:7

Ἐκεῖνοι δὲ οἱ γεωργοὶ πρὸς ἑαυτοὺς εἶπαν ὅτι Οὗτός ἐστιν ὁ κληρονόμος δεῦτε ἀποκτείνωμεν αὐτόν καὶ ἡμῶν ἔσται ἡ κληρονομία

ekeinoi de hoi geōrgoi pros heautous eipan hoti Houtos estin ho klēronomos deute apokteinōmen auton kai hēmōn estai hē klēronomia

Those however - farmers to themselves they said - This is - heir come let us kill Him And us it will be the inheritance

12:8

καὶ λαβόντες ἀπέκτειναν αὐτόν ἐξέβαλον αὐτὸν ἔξω τοῦ ἀμπελῶνος

kai labontes apekteinan auton exebalon auton exō tou ampelōnos

And having taken they killed Him cast forth him out of the vineyard

12:9

Τί [οὖν] ποιήσει ὁ κύριος τοῦ ἀμπελῶνος; ἐλεύσεται καὶ ἀπολέσει τοὺς γεωργούς δώσει τὸν ἀμπελῶνα ἄλλοις

Ti oun poiēsei ho kyrios tou ampelōnos eleusetai kai apolesei tous geōrgous dōsei ton ampelōna allois

What therefore will do - master of the vineyard? He will come And will lose the farmers will give the vineyard to others

12:10

οὐδὲ τὴν γραφὴν ταύτην ἀνέγνωτε Λίθον ὃν ἀπεδοκίμασαν οἱ οἰκοδομοῦντες Οὗτος ἐγενήθη εἰς κεφαλὴν γωνίας

oude tēn graphēn tautēn anegnōte Lithon hon apedokimasan hoi oikodomountes Houtos egenēthē eis kephalēn gōnias

nor the Scripture this? did you read [The] stone which rejected - building This has become for head corner

12:11

Παρὰ Κυρίου ἐγένετο αὕτη Καὶ ἔστιν θαυμαστὴ ἐν ὀφθαλμοῖς ἡμῶν;

Para Kyriou egeneto hautē kai estin thaumastē en ophthalmois hēmōn

With of [the] Lord it came to pass this And is marvelous in [the] eyes of us’

12:12

Καὶ ἐζήτουν αὐτὸν κρατῆσαι καὶ ἐφοβήθησαν τὸν ὄχλον ἔγνωσαν γὰρ ὅτι πρὸς αὐτοὺς τὴν παραβολὴν εἶπεν ἀφέντες ἀπῆλθον

kai ezētoun auton kratēsai kai ephobēthēsan ton ochlon egnōsan gar hoti pros autous tēn parabolēn eipen aphentes apēlthon

And they were seeking him to seize And they feared the crowd they knew for - to they the parable said having left they went away

12:13

Καὶ ἀποστέλλουσιν πρὸς αὐτόν τινας τῶν Φαρισαίων καὶ Ἡρῳδιανῶν ἵνα αὐτὸν ἀγρεύσωσιν λόγῳ

kai apostellousin pros auton tinas tōn Pharisaiōn kai Hērōdianōn hina auton agreusōsin logō

And they send to Him some of the Pharisees And Herodians so that him they might catch word

12:14

καὶ ἐλθόντες λέγουσιν αὐτῷ Διδάσκαλε οἴδαμεν ὅτι ἀληθὴς εἶ οὐ μέλει σοι περὶ οὐδενός γὰρ βλέπεις εἰς πρόσωπον ἀνθρώπων ἀλλ’ ἐπ’ ἀληθείας τὴν ὁδὸν τοῦ Θεοῦ διδάσκεις ἔξεστιν δοῦναι κῆνσον Καίσαρι ἢ οὔ; δῶμεν μὴ δῶμεν;

kai elthontes legousin autō Didaskale oidamen hoti alēthēs ei ou melei soi peri oudenos gar blepeis eis prosōpon anthrōpōn all’ ep’ alētheias tēn hodon tou Theou didaskeis exestin dounai kēnson Kaisari ē ou dōmen mē dōmen

And having come they speak to Him Teacher do we know - TRUE are not is it concern to You around no one for You look for appearance of men but in [the] truth the way of the of God teach it is lawful to give tribute to Caesar or not? Should we pay not pay?

12:15

Ὁ δὲ εἰδὼς αὐτῶν τὴν ὑπόκρισιν εἶπεν αὐτοῖς Τί με πειράζετε; φέρετέ μοι δηνάριον ἵνα ἴδω

ho de eidōs autōn tēn hypokrisin eipen autois Ti me peirazete pherete moi dēnarion hina idō

- however knowing of them the hypocrisy said to them What me do you test? Bring Me a denarius so that I might see [it]

12:16

οἱ δὲ ἤνεγκαν καὶ λέγει αὐτοῖς Τίνος ἡ εἰκὼν αὕτη ἐπιγραφή; Οἱ εἶπαν αὐτῷ Καίσαρος

hoi de ēnenkan kai legei autois Tinos hē eikōn hautē epigraphē hoi eipan autō Kaisaros

- however they brought And He says to them Whose [is] the likeness this inscription? - they said to Him Caesar’s

12:17

Ὁ δὲ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς Τὰ Καίσαρος ἀπόδοτε Καίσαρι καὶ τὰ τοῦ Θεοῦ τῷ Θεῷ Καὶ ἐξεθαύμαζον ἐπ’ αὐτῷ

ho de Iēsous eipen autois Ta Kaisaros apodote Kaisari kai ta tou Theou tō Theō kai exethaumazon ep’ autō

- however Jesus said to them The things Caesar’s give back to Caesar And the of the of God - to God And they were amazed in to Him

12:18

Καὶ ἔρχονται Σαδδουκαῖοι πρὸς αὐτόν οἵτινες λέγουσιν ἀνάστασιν μὴ εἶναι καὶ ἐπηρώτων αὐτὸν λέγοντες

kai erchontai Saddoukaioi pros auton hoitines legousin anastasin mē einai kai epērōtōn auton legontes

And they come Sadducees to Him such as they speak a resurrection not to be And were asking him saying

12:19

Διδάσκαλε Μωϋσῆς ἔγραψεν ἡμῖν ὅτι ἐάν τινος ἀδελφὸς ἀποθάνῃ καὶ καταλίπῃ γυναῖκα μὴ ἀφῇ τέκνον ἵνα λάβῃ ὁ αὐτοῦ τὴν ἐξαναστήσῃ σπέρμα τῷ ἀδελφῷ

Didaskale Mōusēs egrapsen hēmin hoti ean tinos adelphos apothanē kai katalipē gynaika mē aphē teknon hina labē ho autou tēn exanastēsē sperma tō adelphō

Teacher Moses He wrote to us - if anyone brother should die And leave behind wife not might forgive children so that shall take - of Him’” the raise up seed - brother

12:20

ἑπτὰ ἀδελφοὶ ἦσαν καὶ ὁ πρῶτος ἔλαβεν γυναῖκα ἀποθνῄσκων οὐκ ἀφῆκεν σπέρμα

hepta adelphoi ēsan kai ho prōtos elaben gynaika apothnēskōn ouk aphēken sperma

seven brothers they were And - first took wife dying not left seed

12:21

καὶ ὁ δεύτερος ἔλαβεν αὐτήν ἀπέθανεν μὴ καταλιπὼν σπέρμα τρίτος ὡσαύτως

kai ho deuteros elaben autēn apethanen mē katalipōn sperma tritos hōsautōs

And - second took her is dead not having left seed third likewise

12:22

καὶ οἱ ἑπτὰ οὐκ ἀφῆκαν σπέρμα ἔσχατον πάντων ἡ γυνὴ ἀπέθανεν

kai hoi hepta ouk aphēkan sperma eschaton pantōn hē gynē apethanen

And - seven not they allowed seed last all the a woman is dead

12:23

ἐν τῇ ἀναστάσει ὅταν ἀναστῶσιν τίνος αὐτῶν ἔσται γυνή; οἱ γὰρ ἑπτὰ ἔσχον αὐτὴν γυναῖκα

en tē anastasei hotan anastōsin tinos autōn estai gynē hoi gar hepta eschon autēn gynaika

in the resurrection when they rise of which of them it will be wife? - for seven had her wife

12:24

Ἔφη αὐτοῖς ὁ Ἰησοῦς Οὐ διὰ τοῦτο πλανᾶσθε μὴ εἰδότες τὰς γραφὰς μηδὲ τὴν δύναμιν τοῦ Θεοῦ;

Ephē autois ho Iēsous Ou dia touto planasthe mē eidotes tas graphas mēde tēn dynamin tou Theou

Answered to them - Jesus No on account of this do you err not knowing the Scriptures not even the power of the of God?

12:25

ὅταν γὰρ ἐκ νεκρῶν ἀναστῶσιν οὔτε γαμοῦσιν γαμίζονται ἀλλ’ εἰσὶν ὡς ἄγγελοι ἐν τοῖς οὐρανοῖς

hotan gar ek nekrōn anastōsin oute gamousin gamizontai all’ eisin hōs angeloi en tois ouranois

when for from [the] dead they rise neither do they marry are given in marriage but are as angels in on the heavens

12:26

Περὶ δὲ τῶν νεκρῶν ὅτι ἐγείρονται οὐκ ἀνέγνωτε ἐν τῇ βίβλῳ Μωϋσέως ἐπὶ τοῦ Βάτου πῶς εἶπεν αὐτῷ ὁ Θεὸς λέγων Ἐγὼ Ἀβραὰμ καὶ ‹ὁ› Ἰσαὰκ Ἰακώβ;

peri de tōn nekrōn hoti egeirontai ouk anegnōte en tē biblō Mōuseōs epi tou Batou pōs eipen autō ho Theos legōn Egō Abraam kai ho Isaak Iakōb

Concerning however of the [the] dead - they rise not did you read in the book of Moses at of the bush How said to Him - God saying I [am] of Abraham And the of Isaac of Jacob’

12:27

οὐκ ἔστιν Θεὸς νεκρῶν ἀλλὰ ζώντων πολὺ πλανᾶσθε

ouk estin Theos nekrōn alla zōntōn poly planasthe

not is God [the] dead But of [the] living great do you err

12:28

Καὶ προσελθὼν εἷς τῶν γραμματέων ἀκούσας αὐτῶν συζητούντων ἰδὼν* ὅτι καλῶς ἀπεκρίθη αὐτοῖς ἐπηρώτησεν αὐτόν Ποία ἐστὶν ἐντολὴ πρώτη πάντων;

kai proselthōn heis tōn grammateōn akousas autōn syzētountōn idōn hoti kalōs apekrithē autois epērōtēsen auton Poia estin entolē prōtē pantōn

And having come to [her] alone of the scribes having heard of them reasoning together having seen - well she answered to them He asked Him Which is commandment [the] first of all?

12:29

Ἀπεκρίθη ὁ Ἰησοῦς Ὅτι Πρώτη ἐστίν Ἄκουε Ἰσραήλ Κύριος Θεὸς ἡμῶν εἷς ἐστιν

apekrithē ho Iēsous Hoti Prōtē estin Akoue Israēl Kyrios Theos hēmōn heis estin

Answered - Jesus Why foremost He is Hear this O Israel: Lord God us alone is

12:30

καὶ ἀγαπήσεις Κύριον τὸν Θεόν σου ἐξ ὅλης τῆς καρδίας ψυχῆς διανοίας ἰσχύος

kai agapēseis Kyrion ton Theon sou ex holēs tēs kardias psychēs dianoias ischyos

And you shall love [the] Lord the by God of You out of all - heart soul mind strength

12:31

δευτέρα αὕτη Ἀγαπήσεις τὸν πλησίον σου ὡς σεαυτόν μείζων τούτων ἄλλη ἐντολὴ οὐκ ἔστιν

deutera hautē Agapēseis ton plēsion sou hōs seauton meizōn toutōn allē entolē ouk estin

[The] second this You shall love the neighbor of You as yourself’ greatest these another commandment not is

12:32

Καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ ὁ γραμματεύς Καλῶς Διδάσκαλε ἐπ’ ἀληθείας εἶπες ὅτι εἷς ἐστιν καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν ἄλλος πλὴν αὐτοῦ

kai eipen autō ho grammateus Kalōs Didaskale ep’ alētheias eipes hoti heis estin kai ouk estin allos plēn autou

And said to Him - scribe Rightly Teacher in [the] truth You have spoken - alone is And not is another besides of Him’”

12:33

καὶ τὸ ἀγαπᾶν αὐτὸν ἐξ ὅλης τῆς καρδίας συνέσεως ἰσχύος τὸν πλησίον ὡς ἑαυτὸν περισσότερόν ἐστιν πάντων τῶν ὁλοκαυτωμάτων θυσιῶν

kai to agapan auton ex holēs tēs kardias syneseōs ischyos ton plēsion hōs heauton perissoteron estin pantōn tōn holokautōmatōn thysiōn

And the to love him out of all - heart understanding strength the neighbor as himself more important is all of the burnt offerings sacrifices

12:34

Καὶ ὁ Ἰησοῦς ἰδὼν αὐτὸν ὅτι νουνεχῶς ἀπεκρίθη εἶπεν αὐτῷ Οὐ μακρὰν εἶ ἀπὸ τῆς βασιλείας τοῦ Θεοῦ καὶ οὐδεὶς οὐκέτι ἐτόλμα ἐπερωτῆσαι

kai ho Iēsous idōn auton hoti nounechōs apekrithē eipen autō Ou makran ei apo tēs basileias tou Theou kai oudeis ouketi etolma eperōtēsai

And - Jesus having seen him - wisely she answered said to Him No far are from - kingdom of the of God And no one no longer dared to ask

12:35

Καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς ὁ Ἰησοῦς ἔλεγεν διδάσκων ἐν τῷ ἱερῷ Πῶς λέγουσιν οἱ γραμματεῖς ὅτι Χριστὸς υἱὸς Δαυίδ ἐστιν;

kai apokritheis ho Iēsous elegen didaskōn en tō hierō Pōs legousin hoi grammateis hoti Christos huios Dauid estin

And He answering - Jesus He said teaching in - temple How they speak - scribes - Christ son of David is?

12:36

αὐτὸς Δαυὶδ εἶπεν ἐν τῷ Πνεύματι Ἁγίῳ Εἶπεν Κύριος Κυρίῳ μου Κάθου ἐκ δεξιῶν Ἕως ἂν θῶ τοὺς ἐχθρούς σου Ὑποκάτω τῶν ποδῶν

autos Dauid eipen en tō Pneumati Hagiō Eipen Kyrios Kyriō mou Kathou ek dexiōn heōs an thō tous echthrous sou hypokatō tōn podōn

He David said in - [the] Spirit Holy Said Lord Lord of Me Sit from [Your] right hand until - I place the enemies of You [as] a footstool of the feet

12:37

Αὐτὸς Δαυὶδ λέγει αὐτὸν Κύριον καὶ πόθεν αὐτοῦ ἐστιν υἱός; Καὶ ὁ πολὺς ὄχλος ἤκουεν ἡδέως

autos Dauid legei auton Kyrion kai pothen autou estin huios kai ho polys ochlos ēkouen hēdeōs

He David He says him [the] Lord And how of Him’” is son? And - great crowd heard gladly

12:38

Καὶ ἐν τῇ διδαχῇ αὐτοῦ ἔλεγεν Βλέπετε ἀπὸ τῶν γραμματέων θελόντων στολαῖς περιπατεῖν καὶ ἀσπασμοὺς ταῖς ἀγοραῖς

kai en tē didachē autou elegen Blepete apo tōn grammateōn thelontōn stolais peripatein kai aspasmous tais agorais

And in the teaching of Him’” He said Take heed from of the scribes desiring robes to walk about And greetings - marketplaces

12:39

καὶ πρωτοκαθεδρίας ἐν ταῖς συναγωγαῖς πρωτοκλισίας τοῖς δείπνοις

kai prōtokathedrias en tais synagōgais prōtoklisias tois deipnois

And first seats in - synagogues first places on the feasts

12:40

οἱ κατεσθίοντες τὰς οἰκίας τῶν χηρῶν καὶ προφάσει μακρὰ προσευχόμενοι οὗτοι λήμψονται περισσότερον κρίμα

hoi katesthiontes tas oikias tōn chērōn kai prophasei makra proseuchomenoi houtoi lēmpsontai perissoteron krima

- devouring the houses of the widows And as a pretext at great length praying These will receive abundantly judgment

12:41

Καὶ καθίσας κατέναντι τοῦ γαζοφυλακίου ἐθεώρει πῶς ὁ ὄχλος βάλλει χαλκὸν εἰς τὸ γαζοφυλάκιον καὶ πολλοὶ πλούσιοι ἔβαλλον πολλά

kai kathisas katenanti tou gazophylakiou etheōrei pōs ho ochlos ballei chalkon eis to gazophylakion kai polloi plousioi eballon polla

And having sat down before of the treasury He was watching How - crowd puts money for the treasury And many rich were casting [in] many things

12:42

καὶ ἐλθοῦσα μία χήρα πτωχὴ ἔβαλεν λεπτὰ δύο ὅ ἐστιν κοδράντης

kai elthousa mia chēra ptōchē ebalen lepta dyo ho estin kodrantēs

And having come one widow poor He put lepta two which is a kodrantes

12:43

Καὶ προσκαλεσάμενος τοὺς μαθητὰς αὐτοῦ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς Ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν ὅτι ἡ χήρα αὕτη πτωχὴ πλεῖον πάντων ἔβαλεν τῶν βαλλόντων εἰς τὸ γαζοφυλάκιον

kai proskalesamenos tous mathētas autou eipen autois Amēn legō hymin hoti hē chēra hautē ptōchē pleion pantōn ebalen tōn ballontōn eis to gazophylakion

And having called to [Him] the disciples of Him’” said to them Truly I say to you - the widow this poor more all He put of the casting for the treasury

12:44

πάντες γὰρ ἐκ τοῦ περισσεύοντος αὐτοῖς ἔβαλον αὕτη δὲ τῆς ὑστερήσεως αὐτῆς πάντα ὅσα εἶχεν ἔβαλεν ὅλον τὸν βίον

pantes gar ek tou perisseuontos autois ebalon hautē de tēs hysterēseōs autēs panta hosa eichen ebalen holon ton bion

all for from of the was abounding to them cast [in] this however - poverty her all how much it had He put whole the livelihood
