Luke 7 | Luke 9

8:1

Καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ καθεξῆς καὶ αὐτὸς διώδευεν κατὰ πόλιν κώμην κηρύσσων εὐαγγελιζόμενος τὴν βασιλείαν τοῦ Θεοῦ οἱ δώδεκα σὺν αὐτῷ

kai egeneto en tō kathexēs kai autos diōdeuen kata polin kōmēn kēryssōn euangelizomenos tēn basileian tou Theou hoi dōdeka syn autō

And it came to pass in - with method And He was traveling with city village proclaiming proclaiming the good news the kingdom of the of God - twelve with to Him

8:2

καὶ γυναῖκές τινες αἳ ἦσαν τεθεραπευμέναι ἀπὸ πνευμάτων πονηρῶν ἀσθενειῶν Μαρία ἡ καλουμένη Μαγδαληνή ἀφ’ ἧς δαιμόνια ἑπτὰ ἐξεληλύθει

kai gynaikes tines hai ēsan tetherapeumenai apo pneumatōn ponērōn astheneiōn Maria hē kaloumenē Magdalēnē aph’ hēs daimonia hepta exelēlythei

And women some who they were cured from spirits [the] evils sicknesses Mary the is called Magdalene from of whom demons seven had gone out

8:3

καὶ Ἰωάννα γυνὴ Χουζᾶ ἐπιτρόπου Ἡρῴδου Σουσάννα ἕτεραι πολλαί αἵτινες διηκόνουν αὐτοῖς ἐκ τῶν ὑπαρχόντων αὐταῖς

kai Iōanna gynē Chouza epitropou Hērōdou Sousanna heterai pollai haitines diēkonoun autois ek tōn hyparchontōn autais

And Joanna a woman of Chuza a steward of Herod Susanna others many who were ministering to them from of the means to them

8:4

Συνιόντος δὲ ὄχλου πολλοῦ καὶ τῶν κατὰ πόλιν ἐπιπορευομένων πρὸς αὐτὸν εἶπεν διὰ παραβολῆς

Syniontos de ochlou pollou kai tōn kata polin epiporeuomenōn pros auton eipen dia parabolēs

[As] is assembling however crowd great And of the with city are coming to him said on account of parables

8:5

Ἐξῆλθεν ὁ σπείρων τοῦ σπεῖραι τὸν σπόρον αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐν τῷ σπείρειν αὐτὸν ὃ μὲν ἔπεσεν παρὰ τὴν ὁδόν κατεπατήθη τὰ πετεινὰ οὐρανοῦ κατέφαγεν αὐτό

Exēlthen ho speirōn tou speirai ton sporon autou kai en tō speirein auton ho men epesen para tēn hodon katepatēthē ta peteina ouranou katephagen auto

Went out - sowing of the to sow the seed of Him’” And in - he sowed him that which - fell by the way it was trampled upon the birds air devoured it

8:6

Καὶ ἕτερον κατέπεσεν ἐπὶ τὴν πέτραν καὶ φυὲν ἐξηράνθη διὰ τὸ μὴ ἔχειν ἰκμάδα

kai heteron katepesen epi tēn petran kai phyen exēranthē dia to mē echein ikmada

And other fell at the rock And having sprung up it withered away on account of the not to have moisture

8:7

Καὶ ἕτερον ἔπεσεν ἐν μέσῳ τῶν ἀκανθῶν καὶ συμφυεῖσαι αἱ ἄκανθαι ἀπέπνιξαν αὐτό

kai heteron epesen en mesō tōn akanthōn kai symphyeisai hai akanthai apepnixan auto

And other fell in the midst of the thorns And having sprung up with [it] the thorns choked it

8:8

Καὶ ἕτερον ἔπεσεν εἰς τὴν γῆν ἀγαθήν καὶ φυὲν ἐποίησεν καρπὸν ἑκατονταπλασίονα Ταῦτα λέγων ἐφώνει Ὁ ἔχων ὦτα ἀκούειν ἀκουέτω

kai heteron epesen eis tēn gēn agathēn kai phyen epoiēsen karpon hekatontaplasiona tauta legōn ephōnei ho echōn ōta akouein akouetō

And other fell for the soil good And having sprung up did fruit a hundredfold These things saying He was calling out - having ears to hear let him hear

8:9

Ἐπηρώτων δὲ αὐτὸν οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ Τίς αὕτη εἴη ἡ παραβολή

epērōtōn de auton hoi mathētai autou Tis hautē eiē hē parabolē

Were asking however him - disciples of Him’” Who this might be the parable?

8:10

Ὁ δὲ εἶπεν Ὑμῖν δέδοται γνῶναι τὰ μυστήρια τῆς βασιλείας τοῦ Θεοῦ τοῖς λοιποῖς ἐν παραβολαῖς ἵνα Βλέποντες μὴ βλέπωσιν Καὶ ἀκούοντες συνιῶσιν

ho de eipen Hymin dedotai gnōnai ta mystēria tēs basileias tou Theou tois loipois en parabolais hina blepontes mē blepōsin kai akouontes syniōsin

- however said To you has been given to know [it] the mysteries - kingdom of the of God on the rest in parables so that Seeing not they might see And having heard understand

8:11

Ἔστιν δὲ αὕτη ἡ παραβολή ὁ σπόρος ἐστὶν λόγος τοῦ Θεοῦ

estin de hautē hē parabolē ho sporos estin logos tou Theou

Is however this the parable? - seed is word of the of God

8:12

οἱ δὲ παρὰ τὴν ὁδόν εἰσιν ἀκούσαντες εἶτα ἔρχεται ὁ διάβολος καὶ αἴρει τὸν λόγον ἀπὸ τῆς καρδίας αὐτῶν ἵνα μὴ πιστεύσαντες σωθῶσιν

hoi de para tēn hodon eisin akousantes eita erchetai ho diabolos kai airei ton logon apo tēs kardias autōn hina mē pisteusantes sōthōsin

- however by the way are having heard [of it] then comes - devil And tears away the matter from - heart of them so that not having believed they should be saved

8:13

Οἱ δὲ ἐπὶ τῆς πέτρας οἳ ὅταν ἀκούσωσιν μετὰ χαρᾶς δέχονται τὸν λόγον καὶ οὗτοι ῥίζαν οὐκ ἔχουσιν πρὸς καιρὸν πιστεύουσιν ἐν καιρῷ πειρασμοῦ ἀφίστανται

hoi de epi tēs petras hoi hotan akousōsin meta charas dechontai ton logon kai houtoi rhizan ouk echousin pros kairon pisteuousin en kairō peirasmou aphistantai

- however at - a rock who when they hear with joy receive the matter And These root not have to season believe in time of testing fall away

8:14

Τὸ δὲ εἰς τὰς ἀκάνθας πεσόν οὗτοί εἰσιν οἱ ἀκούσαντες καὶ ὑπὸ μεριμνῶν πλούτου ἡδονῶν τοῦ βίου πορευόμενοι συμπνίγονται οὐ τελεσφοροῦσιν

To de eis tas akanthas peson houtoi eisin hoi akousantes kai hypo merimnōn ploutou hēdonōn tou biou poreuomenoi sympnigontai ou telesphorousin

The however for the thorns having fallen these are - having heard [of it] And by being anxious riches pleasures of the of life Going on are choked not do mature

8:15

Τὸ δὲ ἐν τῇ καλῇ γῇ οὗτοί εἰσιν οἵτινες καρδίᾳ καὶ ἀγαθῇ ἀκούσαντες τὸν λόγον κατέχουσιν καρποφοροῦσιν ὑπομονῇ

To de en tē kalē gē houtoi eisin hoitines kardia kai agathē akousantes ton logon katechousin karpophorousin hypomonē

The however in the good earth these are such as heart And good having heard [of it] the matter keep [it] bring forth fruit perseverance

8:16

Οὐδεὶς δὲ λύχνον ἅψας καλύπτει αὐτὸν σκεύει ἢ ὑποκάτω κλίνης τίθησιν ἀλλ’ ἐπὶ λυχνίας ἵνα οἱ εἰσπορευόμενοι βλέπωσιν τὸ φῶς

Oudeis de lychnon hapsas kalyptei auton skeuei ē hypokatō klinēs tithēsin all’ epi lychnias hina hoi eisporeuomenoi blepōsin to phōs

No one however a lamp having lighted covers him with a vessel or under a bed puts [it] but at a lampstand so that - entering they might see the fire

8:17

οὐ γάρ ἐστιν κρυπτὸν ὃ φανερὸν γενήσεται οὐδὲ ἀπόκρυφον μὴ γνωσθῇ καὶ εἰς ἔλθῃ

ou gar estin krypton ho phaneron genēsetai oude apokryphon mē gnōsthē kai eis elthē

not for is hidden that which known it will be done nor a secret thing not shall be known And for it should come

8:18

Βλέπετε οὖν πῶς ἀκούετε ὃς ἂν γὰρ ἔχῃ δοθήσεται αὐτῷ καὶ μὴ ὃ δοκεῖ ἔχειν ἀρθήσεται ἀπ’ αὐτοῦ

Blepete oun pōs akouete hos an gar echē dothēsetai autō kai mē ho dokei echein arthēsetai ap’ autou

Take heed therefore How you hear who - for might have it will be given to Him And not that which do think to have will be taken away from of Him’”

8:19

Παρεγένετο δὲ πρὸς αὐτὸν ἡ μήτηρ καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ οὐκ ἠδύναντο συντυχεῖν αὐτῷ διὰ τὸν ὄχλον

Paregeneto de pros auton hē mētēr kai hoi adelphoi autou ouk ēdynanto syntychein autō dia ton ochlon

Came however to him the mother And - brothers of Him’” not they were able to get to Him on account of the crowd

8:20

ἀπηγγέλη δὲ αὐτῷ Ἡ μήτηρ σου καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοί ἑστήκασιν ἔξω ἰδεῖν θέλοντές σε ⇔

apēngelē de autō HĒ mētēr sou kai hoi adelphoi hestēkasin exō idein thelontes se

It was told however to Him The mother of You And - brothers are standing out to see wanting You

8:21

Ὁ δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτούς Μήτηρ μου καὶ ἀδελφοί οὗτοί εἰσιν οἱ τὸν λόγον τοῦ Θεοῦ ἀκούοντες ποιοῦντες

ho de apokritheis eipen pros autous Mētēr mou kai adelphoi houtoi eisin hoi ton logon tou Theou akouontes poiountes

- however He answering said to them Mother of Me And brothers these are - the matter of the of God having heard doing

8:22

Ἐγένετο δὲ ἐν μιᾷ τῶν ἡμερῶν καὶ αὐτὸς ἐνέβη εἰς πλοῖον οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτούς Διέλθωμεν τὸ πέραν τῆς λίμνης ἀνήχθησαν

egeneto de en mia tōn hēmerōn kai autos enebē eis ploion hoi mathētai autou eipen pros autous Dielthōmen to peran tēs limnēs anēchthēsan

Came however in first [day] of the days And He He entered for a boat - disciples of Him’” said to them Let us pass over the beyond - lake they launched out

8:23

πλεόντων δὲ αὐτῶν ἀφύπνωσεν καὶ κατέβη λαῖλαψ ἀνέμου εἰς τὴν λίμνην συνεπληροῦντο ἐκινδύνευον

pleontōn de autōn aphypnōsen kai katebē lailaps anemou eis tēn limnēn syneplērounto ekindyneuon

Sailing however of them He fell asleep And came down a storm of wind for the lake they were being swamped were in danger

8:24

Προσελθόντες δὲ διήγειραν αὐτὸν λέγοντες Ἐπιστάτα ἐπιστάτα ἀπολλύμεθα Ὁ διεγερθεὶς ἐπετίμησεν τῷ ἀνέμῳ καὶ κλύδωνι τοῦ ὕδατος ἐπαύσαντο ἐγένετο γαλήνη

proselthontes de diēgeiran auton legontes Epistata epistata apollymetha ho diegertheis epetimēsen tō anemō kai klydōni tou hydatos epausanto egeneto galēnē

Having come to [him] however they awoke him saying Master Master we are perishing - having been awoken rebuked - wind And raging of the water they ceased it came to pass a calm

8:25

Εἶπεν δὲ αὐτοῖς Ποῦ ἡ πίστις ὑμῶν; Φοβηθέντες ἐθαύμασαν λέγοντες πρὸς ἀλλήλους Τίς ἄρα οὗτός ἐστιν ὅτι καὶ τοῖς ἀνέμοις ἐπιτάσσει τῷ ὕδατι ὑπακούουσιν αὐτῷ;

Eipen de autois Pou hē pistis hymōn phobēthentes ethaumasan legontes pros allēlous Tis ara houtos estin hoti kai tois anemois epitassei tō hydati hypakouousin autō

Said however to them Where the faith of you? Having been afraid marveled saying to each other Who then this is - And on the winds He commands - with water they obey Him?

8:26

Καὶ κατέπλευσαν εἰς τὴν χώραν τῶν Γερασηνῶν ἥτις ἐστὶν ἀντιπέρα τῆς Γαλιλαίας

kai katepleusan eis tēn chōran tōn Gerasēnōn hētis estin antipera tēs Galilaias

And they sailed down for the region of the Gerasenes which is opposite - of Galilee

8:27

ἐξελθόντι δὲ αὐτῷ ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν ὑπήντησεν ἀνήρ τις ἐκ τῆς πόλεως ἔχων δαιμόνια καὶ χρόνῳ ἱκανῷ οὐκ ἐνεδύσατο ἱμάτιον ἐν οἰκίᾳ ἔμενεν ἀλλ’ τοῖς μνήμασιν

exelthonti de autō epi tēn gēn hypēntēsen anēr tis ek tēs poleōs echōn daimonia kai chronō hikanō ouk enedysato himation en oikia emenen all’ tois mnēmasin

Having gone forth however to Him at the soil met a man anyone from - city having demons And time a long not was wearing clothing in house did abide but on the tombs

8:28

Ἰδὼν δὲ τὸν Ἰησοῦν ἀνακράξας προσέπεσεν αὐτῷ καὶ φωνῇ μεγάλῃ εἶπεν Τί ἐμοὶ σοί Ἰησοῦ Υἱὲ τοῦ Θεοῦ Ὑψίστου; δέομαί σου μή με βασανίσῃς

idōn de ton Iēsoun anakraxas prosepesen autō kai phōnē megalē eipen Ti emoi soi Iēsou Huie tou Theou Hypsistou deomai sou mē me basanisēs

Having seen however the Jesus having cried out fell down before to Him And in a voice loud said What to me to You of Jesus Son of the of God Most High? I implore of You not me torment

8:29

παρήγγελλεν γὰρ τῷ πνεύματι ἀκαθάρτῳ ἐξελθεῖν ἀπὸ τοῦ ἀνθρώπου πολλοῖς χρόνοις συνηρπάκει αὐτόν καὶ ἐδεσμεύετο ἁλύσεσιν πέδαις φυλασσόμενος διαρρήσσων τὰ δεσμὰ ἠλαύνετο ὑπὸ* δαιμονίου εἰς τὰς ἐρήμους

parēngellen gar tō pneumati akathartō exelthein apo tou anthrōpou pollois chronois synērpakei auton kai edesmeueto halysesin pedais phylassomenos diarrēssōn ta desma ēlauneto hypo daimoniou eis tas erēmous

He was commanding for - a spirit unclean to go out from of the of Man to many times it had seized Him And he was bound chains with shackles being kept breaking the chains he was driven by demon for the deserts

8:30

Ἐπηρώτησεν δὲ αὐτὸν ὁ Ἰησοῦς Τί σοι ὄνομά ἐστιν; Δὲ εἶπεν Λεγιών ὅτι εἰσῆλθεν δαιμόνια πολλὰ εἰς αὐτόν

epērōtēsen de auton ho Iēsous Ti soi onoma estin de eipen Legiōn hoti eisēlthen daimonia polla eis auton

Asked however him - Jesus What to You [the] name is? And said Legion - he entered demons many for Him

8:31

καὶ παρεκάλουν αὐτὸν ἵνα μὴ ἐπιτάξῃ αὐτοῖς εἰς τὴν ἄβυσσον ἀπελθεῖν

kai parekaloun auton hina mē epitaxē autois eis tēn abysson apelthein

And were begging him so that not he would command to them for the abyss to depart

8:32

Ἦν δὲ ἐκεῖ ἀγέλη χοίρων ἱκανῶν βοσκομένη ἐν τῷ ὄρει καὶ παρεκάλεσαν αὐτὸν ἵνα ἐπιτρέψῃ αὐτοῖς εἰς ἐκείνους εἰσελθεῖν ἐπέτρεψεν

ēn de ekei agelē choirōn hikanōn boskomenē en tō orei kai parekalesan auton hina epitrepsē autois eis ekeinous eiselthein epetrepsen

There was however there a herd of pigs many feeding in - mountain And they begged him so that He would allow to them for those to enter He allowed

8:33

Ἐξελθόντα δὲ τὰ δαιμόνια ἀπὸ τοῦ ἀνθρώπου εἰσῆλθον εἰς τοὺς χοίρους καὶ ὥρμησεν ἡ ἀγέλη κατὰ κρημνοῦ τὴν λίμνην ἀπεπνίγη

exelthonta de ta daimonia apo tou anthrōpou eisēlthon eis tous choirous kai hōrmēsen hē agelē kata krēmnou tēn limnēn apepnigē

Having gone out however the demons from of the of Man entered for the pigs And rushed the a herd with steep bank the lake was drowned

8:34

Ἰδόντες δὲ οἱ βόσκοντες τὸ γεγονὸς ἔφυγον καὶ ἀπήγγειλαν εἰς τὴν πόλιν τοὺς ἀγρούς

idontes de hoi boskontes to gegonos ephygon kai apēngeilan eis tēn polin tous agrous

Having seen however - feeding the has come to pass fled And proclaimed [it] for the city the country

8:35

ἐξῆλθον δὲ ἰδεῖν τὸ γεγονὸς καὶ ἦλθον πρὸς τὸν Ἰησοῦν εὗρον καθήμενον ἄνθρωπον ἀφ’ οὗ τὰ δαιμόνια ἐξῆλθεν ἱματισμένον σωφρονοῦντα παρὰ τοὺς πόδας τοῦ Ἰησοῦ ἐφοβήθησαν

exēlthon de idein to gegonos kai ēlthon pros ton Iēsoun heuron kathēmenon anthrōpon aph’ hou ta daimonia exēlthen himatismenon sōphronounta para tous podas tou Iēsou ephobēthēsan

have I come forth however to see the has come to pass And they came to the Jesus having found sitting man from of whom the demons it came forth clothed sound minded by the feet of the of Jesus they feared

8:36

ἀπήγγειλαν δὲ αὐτοῖς οἱ ἰδόντες πῶς ἐσώθη ὁ δαιμονισθείς

apēngeilan de autois hoi idontes pōs esōthē ho daimonistheis

proclaimed [it] however to them - having seen How there would have been saved - having been possessed by demons

8:37

Καὶ ἠρώτησεν αὐτὸν ἅπαν τὸ πλῆθος τῆς περιχώρου τῶν Γερασηνῶν ἀπελθεῖν ἀπ’ αὐτῶν ὅτι φόβῳ μεγάλῳ συνείχοντο αὐτὸς δὲ ἐμβὰς εἰς πλοῖον ὑπέστρεψεν

kai ērōtēsen auton hapan to plēthos tēs perichōrou tōn Gerasēnōn apelthein ap’ autōn hoti phobō megalō syneichonto autos de embas eis ploion hypestrepsen

And He asked him all the a multitude - surrounding region of the Gerasenes to depart from of them - with fear great they were seized He however having entered for a boat returned

8:38

Ἐδεῖτο δὲ αὐτοῦ ὁ ἀνὴρ ἀφ’ οὗ ἐξεληλύθει τὰ δαιμόνια εἶναι σὺν αὐτῷ ἀπέλυσεν αὐτὸν λέγων

edeito de autou ho anēr aph’ hou exelēlythei ta daimonia einai syn autō apelysen auton legōn

Was begging however of Him’” - husband from of whom had gone out the demons to be with to Him He sent away him saying

8:39

Ὑπόστρεφε εἰς τὸν οἶκόν σου καὶ διηγοῦ ὅσα σοι ἐποίησεν ὁ Θεός ἀπῆλθεν καθ’ ὅλην τὴν πόλιν κηρύσσων αὐτῷ Ἰησοῦς

Hypostrephe eis ton oikon sou kai diēgou hosa soi epoiēsen ho Theos apēlthen kath’ holēn tēn polin kēryssōn autō Iēsous

Return for the home of You And relate how much to You did - God departed against all the city proclaiming to Him Jesus

8:40

Ἐν δὲ τῷ ὑποστρέφειν τὸν Ἰησοῦν ἀπεδέξατο αὐτὸν ὁ ὄχλος ἦσαν γὰρ πάντες προσδοκῶντες αὐτόν

en de tō hypostrephein ton Iēsoun apedexato auton ho ochlos ēsan gar pantes prosdokōntes auton

By however - returning the Jesus received him - crowd they were for all looking for Him

8:41

καὶ ἰδοὺ ἦλθεν ἀνὴρ ᾧ ὄνομα Ἰάϊρος οὗτος ἄρχων τῆς συναγωγῆς ὑπῆρχεν πεσὼν παρὰ τοὺς πόδας ‹τοῦ› Ἰησοῦ παρεκάλει αὐτὸν εἰσελθεῖν εἰς τὸν οἶκον αὐτοῦ

kai idou ēlthen anēr hō onoma Iairos houtos archōn tēs synagōgēs hypērchen pesōn para tous podas tou Iēsou parekalei auton eiselthein eis ton oikon autou

And Behold [that] came husband which [the] name Jairus this [man] a ruler - synagogue was having fallen by the feet the of Jesus he begged him to enter for the house of Him’”

8:42

ὅτι θυγάτηρ μονογενὴς ἦν αὐτῷ ὡς ἐτῶν δώδεκα καὶ αὐτὴ ἀπέθνῃσκεν Ἐν δὲ τῷ ὑπάγειν αὐτὸν οἱ ὄχλοι συνέπνιγον αὐτόν

hoti thygatēr monogenēs ēn autō hōs etōn dōdeka kai autē apethnēsken en de tō hypagein auton hoi ochloi synepnigon auton

- daughter only begotten was to Him as of years twelve And a woman was dying By however - went him - crowds were pressing around Him

8:43

καὶ γυνὴ οὖσα ἐν ῥύσει αἵματος ἀπὸ ἐτῶν δώδεκα ἥτις ‹ἰατροῖς προσαναλώσασα ὅλον τὸν βίον› οὐκ ἴσχυσεν ἀπ’ οὐδενὸς θεραπευθῆναι

kai gynē ousa en rhysei haimatos apo etōn dōdeka hētis iatrois prosanalōsasa holon ton bion ouk ischysen ap’ oudenos therapeuthēnai

And a woman being in a flux of blood from of years twelve which on physicians having spent whole the living not was able from no one to be healed

8:44

προσελθοῦσα ὄπισθεν ἥψατο τοῦ κρασπέδου ἱματίου αὐτοῦ καὶ παραχρῆμα ἔστη ἡ ῥύσις αἵματος αὐτῆς

proselthousa opisthen hēpsato tou kraspedou himatiou autou kai parachrēma estē hē rhysis haimatos autēs

having come up behind He touched him of the fringe clothing of Him’” And immediately he stood the flux of blood her

8:45

Καὶ εἶπεν ὁ Ἰησοῦς Τίς ἁψάμενός μου; Ἀρνουμένων δὲ πάντων Πέτρος Ἐπιστάτα οἱ ὄχλοι συνέχουσίν σε καὶ ἀποθλίβουσιν ⧼καὶ λέγεις Tίς μου⧽?

kai eipen ho Iēsous Tis hapsamenos mou arnoumenōn de pantōn Petros Epistata hoi ochloi synechousin se kai apothlibousin kai legeis Tis mou

And said - Jesus Who having touched of Me? Were denying [it] however all Peter Master - crowds surround You And press in and say You Who me?

8:46

Ὁ δὲ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν Ἥψατό μού τις ἐγὼ γὰρ ἔγνων δύναμιν ἐξεληλυθυῖαν ἀπ’ ἐμοῦ

ho de Iēsous eipen Hēpsato mou tis egō gar egnōn dynamin exelēlythuian ap’ emou

- however Jesus said Touched than I anyone I for knew I power has gone out from Me

8:47

Ἰδοῦσα δὲ ἡ γυνὴ ὅτι οὐκ ἔλαθεν τρέμουσα ἦλθεν καὶ προσπεσοῦσα αὐτῷ δι’ ἣν αἰτίαν ἥψατο αὐτοῦ ἀπήγγειλεν ἐνώπιον παντὸς τοῦ λαοῦ ὡς ἰάθη παραχρῆμα

idousa de hē gynē hoti ouk elathen tremousa ēlthen kai prospesousa autō di’ hēn aitian hēpsato autou apēngeilen enōpion pantos tou laou hōs iathē parachrēma

8:48

Ὁ δὲ εἶπεν αὐτῇ Θυγάτηρ ἡ πίστις σου σέσωκέν σε πορεύου εἰς εἰρήνην

ho de eipen autē Thygatēr hē pistis sou sesōken se poreuou eis eirēnēn

8:49

Ἔτι αὐτοῦ λαλοῦντος ἔρχεταί τις παρὰ τοῦ ἀρχισυναγώγου λέγων ὅτι Τέθνηκεν ἡ θυγάτηρ σου μηκέτι σκύλλε τὸν Διδάσκαλον

Eti autou lalountos erchetai tis para tou archisynagōgou legōn hoti Tethnēken hē thygatēr sou mēketi skylle ton Didaskalon

8:50

Ὁ δὲ Ἰησοῦς ἀκούσας ἀπεκρίθη αὐτῷ Μὴ φοβοῦ μόνον πίστευσον καὶ σωθήσεται

ho de Iēsous akousas apekrithē autō Mē phobou monon pisteuson kai sōthēsetai

8:51

Ἐλθὼν δὲ εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν οὐκ ἀφῆκεν εἰσελθεῖν τινα σὺν αὐτῷ εἰ μὴ Πέτρον καὶ Ἰωάννην Ἰάκωβον τὸν πατέρα τῆς παιδὸς μητέρα

Elthōn de eis tēn oikian ouk aphēken eiselthein tina syn autō ei mē Petron kai Iōannēn Iakōbon ton patera tēs paidos mētera

8:52

ἔκλαιον δὲ πάντες καὶ ἐκόπτοντο αὐτήν ὁ εἶπεν Μὴ κλαίετε ‹οὐ ‹γὰρ› ἀπέθανεν ἀλλὰ καθεύδει

eklaion de pantes kai ekoptonto autēn ho eipen Mē klaiete ou gar apethanen alla katheudei

They were weeping however all And mourning for her - said Not weep not for is dead But sleeps

8:53

Καὶ κατεγέλων αὐτοῦ εἰδότες ὅτι ἀπέθανεν

kai kategelōn autou eidotes hoti apethanen

And they were laughing at of Him’” knowing - is dead

8:54

Αὐτὸς δὲ κρατήσας τῆς χειρὸς αὐτῆς ἐφώνησεν λέγων Ἡ Παῖς ἔγειρε

autos de kratēsas tēs cheiros autēs ephōnēsen legōn HĒ pais egeire

He however having taken hold - hand her He called saying The Child arise

8:55

καὶ ἐπέστρεψεν τὸ πνεῦμα αὐτῆς ἀνέστη παραχρῆμα διέταξεν αὐτῇ δοθῆναι φαγεῖν

kai epestrepsen to pneuma autēs anestē parachrēma dietaxen autē dothēnai phagein

8:56

καὶ ἐξέστησαν οἱ γονεῖς αὐτῆς ὁ δὲ παρήγγειλεν αὐτοῖς μηδενὶ εἰπεῖν τὸ γεγονός

kai exestēsan hoi goneis autēs ho de parēngeilen autois mēdeni eipein to gegonos
