11:1

Καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ εἶναι αὐτὸν τόπῳ τινὶ προσευχόμενον ὡς ἐπαύσατο εἶπέν τις τῶν μαθητῶν αὐτοῦ πρὸς αὐτόν Κύριε δίδαξον ἡμᾶς προσεύχεσθαι καθὼς καὶ Ἰωάννης ἐδίδαξεν τοὺς μαθητὰς

kai egeneto en tō einai auton topō tini proseuchomenon hōs epausato eipen tis tōn mathētōn autou pros auton Kyrie didaxon hēmas proseuchesthai kathōs kai Iōannēs edidaxen tous mathētas

And it came to pass in - to be him place to anyone praying as He left off said anyone of the disciples of Him’” to Him Lord teach us? to pray as And John taught the disciples

11:2

Εἶπεν δὲ αὐτοῖς Ὅταν προσεύχησθε λέγετε Πάτερ ⧼ἡμῶν ὁ ἐν τοῖς οὐρανοῖς⧽ ἁγιασθήτω τὸ ὄνομά σου Ἐλθέτω* ἡ βασιλεία ⧼Γενηθήτω θέλημά ὡς οὐρανῷ καὶ ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς⧽

Eipen de autois Hotan proseuchēsthe legete Pater hēmōn ho en tois ouranois hagiasthētō to onoma sou elthetō hē basileia Genēthētō thelēma hōs ouranō kai epi tēs gēs

Said however to them When you pray say [that] Father of us - in on the heaven hallowed be the [the] name of You Come the kingdom let be done will as heaven And at - earth

11:3

Τὸν ἄρτον ἡμῶν τὸν ἐπιούσιον δίδου ἡμῖν τὸ καθ’ ἡμέραν

Ton arton hēmōn ton epiousion didou hēmin to kath’ hēmeran

The bread us the daily give to us the against day

11:4

Καὶ ἄφες ἡμῖν τὰς ἁμαρτίας ἡμῶν γὰρ αὐτοὶ ἀφίομεν παντὶ ὀφείλοντι μὴ εἰσενέγκῃς ἡμᾶς εἰς πειρασμόν ⧼ἀλλὰ ῥῦσαι ἀπὸ τοῦ πονηροῦ⧽

kai aphes hēmin tas hamartias hēmōn gar autoi aphiomen panti opheilonti mē eisenenkēs hēmas eis peirasmon alla rhysai apo tou ponērou

And leave to us the sins us for yourselves we forgive every indebted not lead us? for temptation but deliver from of the evil [one]

11:5

Καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτούς Τίς ἐξ ὑμῶν ἕξει φίλον καὶ πορεύσεται αὐτὸν μεσονυκτίου εἴπῃ αὐτῷ Φίλε χρῆσόν μοι τρεῖς ἄρτους

kai eipen pros autous Tis ex hymōn hexei philon kai poreusetai auton mesonyktiou eipē autō Phile chrēson moi treis artous

And said to them Who out of you will hold a friend And will go him at midnight says to Him Friend lend Me three loaves

11:6

ἐπειδὴ φίλος μου παρεγένετο ἐξ ὁδοῦ πρός με καὶ οὐκ ἔχω ὃ παραθήσω αὐτῷ

epeidē philos mou paregeneto ex hodou pros me kai ouk echō ho parathēsō autō

since a friend of Me is come out of route to me And not have that which I will set before to Him

11:7

Κἀκεῖνος ἔσωθεν ἀποκριθεὶς εἴπῃ Μή μοι κόπους πάρεχε ἤδη ἡ θύρα κέκλεισται καὶ τὰ παιδία μου μετ’ ἐμοῦ εἰς τὴν κοίτην εἰσίν οὐ δύναμαι ἀναστὰς δοῦναί σοι

kakeinos esōthen apokritheis eipē Mē moi kopous pareche ēdē hē thyra kekleistai kai ta paidia mou met’ emou eis tēn koitēn eisin ou dynamai anastas dounai soi

And he Within He answering says Not Me trouble offer already the door has been shut And the little children of Me with Me for the bed there are not I am able having risen up to give to You

11:8

Λέγω ὑμῖν εἰ καὶ οὐ δώσει αὐτῷ ἀναστὰς διὰ τὸ εἶναι φίλον αὐτοῦ διά γε τὴν ἀναίδειαν ἐγερθεὶς ὅσων χρῄζει

Legō hymin ei kai ou dōsei autō anastas dia to einai philon autou dia ge tēn anaideian egertheis hosōn chrēzei

I say to you if And not will give to Him having risen up on account of the to be a friend of Him’” because of yet the persistence having arisen as much as he needs

11:9

Κἀγὼ ὑμῖν λέγω αἰτεῖτε καὶ δοθήσεται ζητεῖτε εὑρήσετε κρούετε ἀνοιγήσεται

Kagō hymin legō aiteite kai dothēsetai zēteite heurēsete krouete anoigēsetai

And I to you I say ask And it will be given you seek you will find knock it will be opened

11:10

πᾶς γὰρ ὁ αἰτῶν λαμβάνει καὶ ζητῶν εὑρίσκει τῷ κρούοντι ἀνοιγήσεται

pas gar ho aitōn lambanei kai zētōn heuriskei tō krouonti anoigēsetai

all for - asking receives And seeking finds - knocking it will be opened

11:11

Τίνα δὲ ἐξ ὑμῶν τὸν πατέρα αἰτήσει ὁ υἱὸς ἰχθύν καὶ* ἀντὶ ἰχθύος ὄφιν αὐτῷ ἐπιδώσει;

Tina de ex hymōn ton patera aitēsei ho huios ichthyn kai anti ichthyos ophin autō epidōsei

Whom however out of you the father will ask for - son a fish and for a fish a serpent to Him will he give?

11:12

ἢ καὶ αἰτήσει ᾠόν ἐπιδώσει αὐτῷ σκορπίον;

ē kai aitēsei ōon epidōsei autō skorpion

or And will ask for an egg will he give to Him a scorpion?

11:13

εἰ οὖν ὑμεῖς πονηροὶ ὑπάρχοντες οἴδατε δόματα ἀγαθὰ διδόναι τοῖς τέκνοις ὑμῶν πόσῳ μᾶλλον ὁ Πατὴρ ἐξ οὐρανοῦ δώσει Πνεῦμα Ἅγιον αἰτοῦσιν αὐτόν

ei oun hymeis ponēroi hyparchontes oidate domata agatha didonai tois teknois hymōn posō mallon ho Patēr ex ouranou dōsei Pneuma Hagion aitousin auton

if therefore you evil living understand you gifts good to give on the children you how much rather - Father out of air will give Spirit Holy asking Him

11:14

Καὶ ἦν ἐκβάλλων δαιμόνιον καὶ αὐτὸ κωφόν ἐγένετο δὲ τοῦ δαιμονίου ἐξελθόντος ἐλάλησεν ὁ κωφός ἐθαύμασαν οἱ ὄχλοι

kai ēn ekballōn daimonion kai auto kōphon egeneto de tou daimoniou exelthontos elalēsen ho kōphos ethaumasan hoi ochloi

And was casting out demon And it mute it came to pass however of the demon having gone forth He spoke - mute [man] marveled - crowds

11:15

τινὲς δὲ ἐξ αὐτῶν εἶπον* Ἐν Βεελζεβοὺλ τῷ ἄρχοντι τῶν δαιμονίων ἐκβάλλει τὰ δαιμόνια

tines de ex autōn eipon en Beelzeboul tō archonti tōn daimoniōn ekballei ta daimonia

Some however out of of them said By Beelzebul - prince of the demons drives out the demons

11:16

ἕτεροι δὲ πειράζοντες σημεῖον ἐξ οὐρανοῦ ἐζήτουν παρ’ αὐτοῦ

heteroi de peirazontes sēmeion ex ouranou ezētoun par’ autou

others however testing a sign out of air they were seeking belonging to of Him’”

11:17

Αὐτὸς δὲ εἰδὼς αὐτῶν τὰ διανοήματα εἶπεν αὐτοῖς Πᾶσα βασιλεία ἐφ’ ἑαυτὴν διαμερισθεῖσα ἐρημοῦται καὶ οἶκος ἐπὶ οἶκον πίπτει

autos de eidōs autōn ta dianoēmata eipen autois Pasa basileia eph’ heautēn diameristheisa erēmoutai kai oikos epi oikon piptei

He however knowing of them the thoughts said to them Every kingdom against itself having been divided is brought to desolation And a house at house falls

11:18

εἰ δὲ καὶ ὁ Σατανᾶς ἐφ’ ἑαυτὸν διεμερίσθη πῶς σταθήσεται ἡ βασιλεία αὐτοῦ; ὅτι λέγετε ἐν Βεελζεβοὺλ ἐκβάλλειν με τὰ δαιμόνια

ei de kai ho Satanas eph’ heauton diemeristhē pōs stathēsetai hē basileia autou hoti legete en Beelzeboul ekballein me ta daimonia

if however And - Satan against himself is divided How will stand the kingdom him? - say [that] in Beelzebul to cast out me the demons

11:19

εἰ δὲ ἐγὼ ἐν Βεελζεβοὺλ ἐκβάλλω τὰ δαιμόνια οἱ υἱοὶ ὑμῶν τίνι ἐκβάλλουσιν; διὰ τοῦτο αὐτοὶ κριταὶ ἔσονται

ei de egō en Beelzeboul ekballō ta daimonia hoi huioi hymōn tini ekballousin dia touto autoi kritai esontai

if however I in Beelzebul cast out the demons - sons you what do they cast out? on account of this yourselves judges will be

11:20

εἰ δὲ ἐν δακτύλῳ Θεοῦ ἐγὼ ἐκβάλλω τὰ δαιμόνια ἄρα ἔφθασεν ἐφ’ ὑμᾶς ἡ βασιλεία τοῦ

ei de en daktylō Theou egō ekballō ta daimonia ara ephthasen eph’ hymas hē basileia tou

if however in finger of God I cast out the demons then has come against you the kingdom of the

11:21

Ὅταν ὁ ἰσχυρὸς καθωπλισμένος φυλάσσῃ τὴν ἑαυτοῦ αὐλήν ἐν εἰρήνῃ ἐστὶν τὰ ὑπάρχοντα αὐτοῦ

Hotan ho ischyros kathōplismenos phylassē tēn heautou aulēn en eirēnē estin ta hyparchonta autou

When - strong [man] being armed might guard the itself house in peace is the possessing of Him’”

11:22

ἐπὰν δὲ ἰσχυρότερος αὐτοῦ ἐπελθὼν νικήσῃ αὐτόν τὴν πανοπλίαν αἴρει ἐφ’ ᾗ ἐπεποίθει καὶ τὰ σκῦλα διαδίδωσιν

epan de ischyroteros autou epelthōn nikēsē auton tēn panoplian airei eph’ hē epepoithei kai ta skyla diadidōsin

when however [one] stronger of Him’” having come upon [him] shall overcome Him the complete armor tears away against which he had trusted And the plunder he divides

11:23

Ὁ μὴ ὢν μετ’ ἐμοῦ κατ’ ἐστιν καὶ ὁ συνάγων σκορπίζει

ho mē ōn met’ emou kat’ estin kai ho synagōn skorpizei

- not being with Me With is And - gathering scatters

11:24

Ὅταν τὸ ἀκάθαρτον πνεῦμα ἐξέλθῃ ἀπὸ τοῦ ἀνθρώπου διέρχεται δι’ ἀνύδρων τόπων ζητοῦν ἀνάπαυσιν καὶ μὴ εὑρίσκον [τότε] λέγει Ὑποστρέψω εἰς τὸν οἶκόν μου ὅθεν ἐξῆλθον

Hotan to akatharton pneuma exelthē apo tou anthrōpou dierchetai di’ anydrōn topōn zētoun anapausin kai mē heuriskon tote legei Hypostrepsō eis ton oikon mou hothen exēlthon

When the unclean spirit is gone out from of the of Man it passes after [some] waterless places seeking rest And not finding [any] then He says I will return for the home of Me from where have I come forth

11:25

καὶ ἐλθὸν εὑρίσκει (σχολάζοντα) σεσαρωμένον κεκοσμημένον

kai elthon heuriskei scholazonta sesarōmenon kekosmēmenon

And having come finds empty swept put in order

11:26

τότε πορεύεται καὶ παραλαμβάνει ἕτερα πνεύματα πονηρότερα ἑαυτοῦ ἑπτά εἰσελθόντα κατοικεῖ ἐκεῖ γίνεται τὰ ἔσχατα τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἐκείνου χείρονα τῶν πρώτων

tote poreuetai kai paralambanei hetera pneumata ponērotera heautou hepta eiselthonta katoikei ekei ginetai ta eschata tou anthrōpou ekeinou cheirona tōn prōtōn

then he goes And takes with [Him] other spirits more evil itself seven having entered in they dwell there it came to pass the last of the of Man that worse of the first

11:27

Ἐγένετο δὲ ἐν τῷ λέγειν αὐτὸν ταῦτα ἐπάρασά τις φωνὴν γυνὴ ἐκ τοῦ ὄχλου εἶπεν αὐτῷ Μακαρία ἡ κοιλία βαστάσασά σε καὶ μαστοὶ οὓς ἐθήλασας

egeneto de en tō legein auton tauta eparasa tis phōnēn gynē ek tou ochlou eipen autō Makaria hē koilia bastasasa se kai mastoi hous ethēlasas

Came however in - to say him these things having lifted up anyone a cry a woman from of the crowd said to Him Blessed [is] the womb having borne You And [the] breasts which You nursed

11:28

Αὐτὸς δὲ εἶπεν Μενοῦν μακάριοι οἱ ἀκούοντες τὸν λόγον τοῦ Θεοῦ καὶ φυλάσσοντες

autos de eipen Menoun makarioi hoi akouontes ton logon tou Theou kai phylassontes

He however said No rather blessed - having heard the matter of the of God And keeping

11:29

Τῶν δὲ ὄχλων ἐπαθροιζομένων ἤρξατο λέγειν Ἡ γενεὰ αὕτη πονηρά ἐστιν σημεῖον ζητεῖ καὶ οὐ δοθήσεται αὐτῇ εἰ μὴ τὸ Ἰωνᾶ

Tōn de ochlōn epathroizomenōn ērxato legein HĒ genea hautē ponēra estin sēmeion zētei kai ou dothēsetai autē ei mē to Iōna

- however crowds being pressed around together he began to say The generation this evil things is a sign seeks And not it will be given on her if not the of Jonah

11:30

καθὼς γὰρ ἐγένετο (ὁ) Ἰωνᾶς τοῖς Νινευίταις σημεῖον οὕτως ἔσται καὶ ὁ Υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου τῇ γενεᾷ ταύτῃ

kathōs gar egeneto ho Iōnas tois Nineuitais sēmeion houtōs estai kai ho Huios tou anthrōpou tē genea tautē

as for it came to pass a Jonah on the Ninevites a sign thus it will be And - Son of the of Man the generation this

11:31

Βασίλισσα νότου ἐγερθήσεται ἐν τῇ κρίσει μετὰ τῶν ἀνδρῶν τῆς γενεᾶς ταύτης καὶ κατακρινεῖ αὐτούς ὅτι ἦλθεν ἐκ περάτων γῆς ἀκοῦσαι τὴν σοφίαν Σολομῶνος ἰδοὺ πλεῖον ὧδε

basilissa notou egerthēsetai en tē krisei meta tōn andrōn tēs geneas tautēs kai katakrinei autous hoti ēlthen ek peratōn gēs akousai tēn sophian Solomōnos idou pleion hōde

The Queen of [the] south Will rise up in the judgment’ with of the men - generation this And will condemn them - [that] came from ends land to hear the wisdom of Solomon Behold more here

11:32

ἄνδρες Νινευῖται ἀναστήσονται ἐν τῇ κρίσει μετὰ τῆς γενεᾶς ταύτης καὶ κατακρινοῦσιν αὐτήν ὅτι μετενόησαν εἰς τὸ κήρυγμα Ἰωνᾶ ἰδοὺ πλεῖον ὧδε

andres Nineuitai anastēsontai en tē krisei meta tēs geneas tautēs kai katakrinousin autēn hoti metenoēsan eis to kērygma Iōna idou pleion hōde

men of Nineveh will stand up in the judgment’ with - generation this And they will condemn her - they repented for the preaching of Jonah Behold more here

11:33

Οὐδεὶς λύχνον ἅψας εἰς κρύπτην τίθησιν οὐδὲ ὑπὸ τὸν μόδιον ἀλλ’ ἐπὶ τὴν λυχνίαν ἵνα οἱ εἰσπορευόμενοι τὸ φέγγος βλέπωσιν

Oudeis lychnon hapsas eis kryptēn tithēsin oude hypo ton modion all’ epi tēn lychnian hina hoi eisporeuomenoi to phengos blepōsin

No one a lamp having lighted for secret puts [it] nor by the basket but at the lampstand so that - entering the light they might see

11:34

Ὁ λύχνος τοῦ σώματός ἐστιν ὁ ὀφθαλμός σου ὅταν ἁπλοῦς ᾖ καὶ ὅλον τὸ σῶμά φωτεινόν ἐπὰν δὲ πονηρὸς σκοτεινόν

ho lychnos tou sōmatos estin ho ophthalmos sou hotan haplous ē kai holon to sōma phōteinon epan de ponēros skoteinon

- lamp of the body is - eye of You when clear he might be And whole the body light when however evil [is] dark

11:35

σκόπει οὖν μὴ τὸ φῶς ἐν σοὶ σκότος ἐστίν

skopei oun mē to phōs en soi skotos estin

Take heed therefore not the fire in You darkness He is

11:36

εἰ οὖν τὸ σῶμά σου ὅλον φωτεινόν μὴ ἔχον μέρος τι σκοτεινόν ἔσται φωτεινὸν ὡς ὅταν ὁ λύχνος τῇ ἀστραπῇ φωτίζῃ σε

ei oun to sōma sou holon phōteinon mē echon meros ti skoteinon estai phōteinon hōs hotan ho lychnos tē astrapē phōtizē se

if therefore the body of You whole light not having place anything [is] dark it will be full of light as when - lamp the shining might light You

11:37

Ἐν δὲ τῷ λαλῆσαι ἐρωτᾷ αὐτὸν Φαρισαῖος ὅπως ἀριστήσῃ παρ’ αὐτῷ εἰσελθὼν ἀνέπεσεν

en de tō lalēsai erōta auton Pharisaios hopōs aristēsē par’ autō eiselthōn anepesen

By however - speaking asked him Pharisee how He would dine belonging to to Him having entered He reclined

11:38

ὁ δὲ Φαρισαῖος ἰδὼν ἐθαύμασεν ὅτι οὐ πρῶτον ἐβαπτίσθη πρὸ τοῦ ἀρίστου

ho de Pharisaios idōn ethaumasen hoti ou prōton ebaptisthē pro tou aristou

- however Pharisee having seen wondered - not first was baptized before of the dinner

11:39

Εἶπεν δὲ ὁ Κύριος πρὸς αὐτόν Νῦν ὑμεῖς οἱ Φαρισαῖοι τὸ ἔξωθεν τοῦ ποτηρίου καὶ πίνακος καθαρίζετε ἔσωθεν ὑμῶν γέμει ἁρπαγῆς πονηρίας

Eipen de ho Kyrios pros auton Nyn hymeis hoi Pharisaioi to exōthen tou potēriou kai pinakos katharizete esōthen hymōn gemei harpagēs ponērias

Said however - Lord to Him Now you - Pharisees the from outside of the cup And dish cleanse Within you is full greed wickedness

11:40

ἄφρονες οὐχ ὁ ποιήσας τὸ ἔξωθεν καὶ ἔσωθεν ἐποίησεν;

aphrones ouch ho poiēsas to exōthen kai esōthen epoiēsen

Fools not - having done the from outside And Within did He commit?

11:41

πλὴν τὰ ἐνόντα δότε ἐλεημοσύνην καὶ ἰδοὺ πάντα καθαρὰ ὑμῖν ἐστιν

plēn ta enonta dote eleēmosynēn kai idou panta kathara hymin estin

besides the being within give acts of charity And Behold all clean to you is

11:42

Ἀλλὰ οὐαὶ ὑμῖν τοῖς Φαρισαίοις ὅτι ἀποδεκατοῦτε τὸ ἡδύοσμον καὶ πήγανον πᾶν λάχανον παρέρχεσθε τὴν κρίσιν ἀγάπην τοῦ Θεοῦ ταῦτα δὲ ἔδει ποιῆσαι κἀκεῖνα μὴ παρεῖναι

Alla ouai hymin tois Pharisaiois hoti apodekatoute to hēdyosmon kai pēganon pan lachanon parerchesthe tēn krisin agapēn tou Theou tauta de edei poiēsai kakeina mē pareinai

But woe to you on the Pharisees - you pay tithes of the mint And rue everything herb you pass by the justice love of the of God these things however did it behoove to do and these not to neglect

11:43

Οὐαὶ ὑμῖν τοῖς Φαρισαίοις ὅτι ἀγαπᾶτε τὴν πρωτοκαθεδρίαν ἐν ταῖς συναγωγαῖς καὶ τοὺς ἀσπασμοὺς ἀγοραῖς

ouai hymin tois Pharisaiois hoti agapate tēn prōtokathedrian en tais synagōgais kai tous aspasmous agorais

Woe to you on the Pharisees - love the first seat in - synagogues And the greetings marketplaces

11:44

οὐαὶ ὑμῖν ὅτι ἐστὲ ὡς τὰ μνημεῖα ἄδηλα καὶ οἱ ἄνθρωποι περιπατοῦντες ἐπάνω οὐκ οἴδασιν

ouai hymin hoti este hōs ta mnēmeia adēla kai hoi anthrōpoi peripatountes epanō ouk oidasin

woe to you - you are as the monuments unmarked And - men walking for above not have known [it]

11:45

Ἀποκριθεὶς δέ τις τῶν νομικῶν λέγει αὐτῷ Διδάσκαλε ταῦτα λέγων καὶ ἡμᾶς ὑβρίζεις

apokritheis de tis tōn nomikōn legei autō Didaskale tauta legōn kai hēmas hybrizeis

Answering now anyone of the lawyers He says to Him Teacher these things saying And us? You insult

11:46

Ὁ δὲ εἶπεν Καὶ ὑμῖν τοῖς νομικοῖς οὐαί ὅτι φορτίζετε τοὺς ἀνθρώπους φορτία δυσβάστακτα καὶ αὐτοὶ ἑνὶ τῶν δακτύλων ὑμῶν οὐ προσψαύετε φορτίοις

ho de eipen kai hymin tois nomikois ouai hoti phortizete tous anthrōpous phortia dysbastakta kai autoi heni tōn daktylōn hymōn ou prospsauete phortiois

- however said And to you on the lawyers Woe - you burden the men burdens heavy to bear And yourselves to one of the fingers you not do touch burdens

11:47

οὐαὶ ὑμῖν ὅτι οἰκοδομεῖτε τὰ μνημεῖα τῶν προφητῶν οἱ δὲ πατέρες ὑμῶν ἀπέκτειναν αὐτούς

ouai hymin hoti oikodomeite ta mnēmeia tōn prophētōn hoi de pateres hymōn apekteinan autous

woe to you - you build the monuments of the prophets - however fathers you they killed them

11:48

ἄρα μάρτυρές ἐστε καὶ συνευδοκεῖτε τοῖς ἔργοις τῶν πατέρων ὑμῶν ὅτι αὐτοὶ μὲν ἀπέκτειναν αὐτοὺς ὑμεῖς δὲ οἰκοδομεῖτε

ara martyres este kai syneudokeite tois ergois tōn paterōn hymōn hoti autoi men apekteinan autous hymeis de oikodomeite

then witnesses are you? And consent on the works of the fathers you - yourselves - they killed they you however you build

11:49

διὰ τοῦτο καὶ ἡ σοφία τοῦ Θεοῦ εἶπεν Ἀποστελῶ εἰς αὐτοὺς προφήτας ἀποστόλους ἐξ αὐτῶν ἀποκτενοῦσιν διώξουσιν

dia touto kai hē sophia tou Theou eipen Apostelō eis autous prophētas apostolous ex autōn apoktenousin diōxousin

on account of this And the wisdom of the of God said I will send for they prophets apostles out of of them they will kill persecute

11:50

ἵνα ἐκζητηθῇ τὸ αἷμα πάντων τῶν προφητῶν ἐκκεχυμένον ἀπὸ καταβολῆς κόσμου τῆς γενεᾶς ταύτης

hina ekzētēthē to haima pantōn tōn prophētōn ekkechymenon apo katabolēs kosmou tēs geneas tautēs

11:51

ἀπὸ αἵματος Ἅβελ ἕως Ζαχαρίου τοῦ ἀπολομένου μεταξὺ θυσιαστηρίου καὶ οἴκου ναί λέγω ὑμῖν ἐκζητηθήσεται τῆς γενεᾶς ταύτης

Οὐαὶ ὑμῖν τοῖς νομικοῖς ὅτι ἤρατε τὴν κλεῖδα τῆς γνώσεως αὐτοὶ οὐκ εἰσήλθατε καὶ τοὺς εἰσερχομένους ἐκωλύσατε

Κἀκεῖθεν ἐξελθόντος αὐτοῦ ἤρξαντο οἱ γραμματεῖς καὶ Φαρισαῖοι δεινῶς ἐνέχειν ἀποστοματίζειν αὐτὸν περὶ πλειόνων
