Ἐπειδήπερ πολλοὶ ἐπεχείρησαν ἀνατάξασθαι διήγησιν περὶ τῶν πεπληροφορημένων ἐν ἡμῖν πραγμάτων

Epeidēper polloi epecheirēsan anataxasthai diēgēsin peri tōn peplērophorēmenōn en hēmin pragmatōn

Inasmuch as many have undertaken to draw up a narration around of the having been accomplished in to us things

Came in - days of Herod king - Judea a priest anyone named Zechariah out of division Abijah And a woman to Him from of the daughters of Aaron the [the] name her Elizabeth

Eipen de pros auton ho angelos Mē phobou Zacharia dioti eisēkousthē hē deēsis sou kai gynē Elisabet gennēsei huion soi kaleseis to onoma autou Iōannēn

Said however to him - an angel Not fear Zechariah because has been heard the prayer of You And woman Elizabeth will bear son to You you will call the [the] name of Him’” of John

And He will go forth before of Him’” in a spirit power of Elijah to turn heart fathers at children [the] disobedient [the] wisdom righteous to make ready Lord people prepared

And He answering - an angel said to Him I am [He] Gabriel standing before of the of God And I was sent speaking to You to bring glad tidings to You these things

kai idou esē siōpōn mē dynamenos lalēsai achri hēs hēmeras genētai tauta anth’ hōn ouk episteusas tois logois mou hoitines plērōthēsontai eis ton kairon autōn

And Behold you will be silent not being able speaking to of whom days becomes these things in return for of what things not you have believed on the words of Me such as will be fulfilled for the season of them

And He answering - an angel said on her Spirit Holy will come at You And power of [the] Most High will overshadow to You Therefore the being born holy will be called Son of God

And she cried out in a voice loud said Blessed yourself in women blessed is - fruit - womb of You
